Amber Lindsey, APR
Amber is a senior leader with 18+ years of experience developing and implementing successful marketing and communications programs. She has deep brand building experience, including consumer campaigns, thought leadership and storytelling. She’s worked in leadership roles at regarded agencies in Portland, including Maxwell PR + Engagement and Koopman Ostbo Marketing Communications, where her work largely followed her stomach in support of some of the smartest innovators and regional food brands exploding onto the national scene. She’s been fortunate to work with regarded brands, restaurateurs, entrepreneurs and change-makers in Portland’s foodie scene - including nearly four years in-house at McMenamins overseeing PR and content development for that iconic brand’s hotels and brewpubs.
Amber most recently served as Director of Marketing and Communications at Oregon Food Bank, where she set the vision and directed the day-to-day activities of a fast-paced internal marketing team and oversaw all aspects of brand, ensuring the regarded non-profit’s brand was strong on and offline. Her work there culminated in a significant brand refresh to illustrate the organization’s evolution from food distribution into tackling the root cases of hunger.
Amber is self-directed, results-driven, creative, flexible – and adept at change management. She’s highly skilled at building relationships, fostering trust, and building and motivating teams. Her expertise includes: creative marketing and communications strategy; brand building and identity, including messaging and positioning; integrated cross-channel marketing; strategic social engagement and digital marketing; content development and mission-driven storytelling; and reputation management, crisis and internal communications.
